Keep your entry clear.

What exactly do I need to do?

Open or download RunnrZ, create a free account, and join DON'T DROP THE BALL in Challenges. Then return to this page and register. Your entry is subject to eligibility and verification by RunnrZ.

Do I need to pay or play basketball?

No purchase is necessary. RunnrZ is free to download, with optional in-app purchases that are not required for this campaign. MEME BALL is optional for general entry. Only selected Championship finalists need a MEME BALL player account for official scoring.

How does the 5K bonus work?

Complete a total of 5K walking or running in RunnrZ during the qualifying window. After verification, you receive one extra entry, capped at two entries per person. A checked box alone does not earn the bonus. The bonus applies to the general draw and opted-in finalist selection, not your basketball score.

How will I know if I'm selected?

The BALL Foundation will contact selected winners and finalists by email. Keep an eye on the address you register with. You will never be asked to pay a fee to receive a prize.

When can I enter?

Entries open Wednesday, October 7 at 5:00 p.m. PT and close Sunday, October 11 at 11:59 p.m. PT. Championship opt-ins and activity qualifying for finalist selection close Saturday, October 10 at 11:59 p.m. PT. The page will indicate when entries are open.

OPTIONAL / $300 CHAMPIONSHIP

YOUR SHOT
AT THE FINAL.

  1. Check the Championship option and register by Saturday, October 10 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
  2. Up to 16 finalists are randomly selected from eligible, verified opt-ins. Qualifying 5K activity completed by that cutoff adds one entry to finalist selection.
  3. Invitations are emailed Sunday morning. Confirm by the deadline in your invitation and create or use a MEME BALL player account.
  4. The final is planned for Sunday, October 11 at 5:00 p.m. PT / 8:00 p.m. ET. Play three supervised rounds. The highest combined verified score wins $300; an additional round resolves a tie.

Practice does not determine qualification. If fewer than 16 eligible players accept, the final proceeds with those confirmed. The champion is excluded from the four $50 general-prize draws.

OFFICIAL RULES

THE CHALLENGE
AT A GLANCE.

No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win. Purchases do not improve your chances. Entry is subject to these Official Rules.

Organizer and sponsor
Administered by The BALL Foundation, LLC. Presented by EVERGLOW SAS (RunnrZ). Campaign questions: kb@theballfoundation.com.
Eligibility
Legal residents of California or New York, age 18 or older at entry. Employees of the organizer or sponsor, involved creators and their immediate households are ineligible. Void outside those states and where prohibited. Eligibility may be verified before a prize is paid.
Entry window
October 7, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. PT through October 11, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. PT. Organizer's server time controls. Championship opt-ins and activity qualifying for finalist selection close October 10 at 11:59 p.m. PT. Registration is required; joining the app alone is not an entry.
App entry
Get or open RunnrZ, create a free account, join DON'T DROP THE BALL, and submit this form using the same email as the app account. One standard entry after verification. Complete a cumulative 5K walk or run recorded in RunnrZ during the qualifying window for one extra entry. Only verified activity counts; a checkbox or app-link click does not prove completion. Maximum two entries per person across all methods.
Free alternate entry
No app, exercise, purchase, repost or newsletter subscription is required through this alternative. Use the alternate-entry form below during the same window. Submit your name, email, eligible state and acceptance of these rules. You may request a second free entry using its optional checkbox. Alternate entries have the same odds per entry and may opt into Championship selection by the same cutoff. Eligibility verification still applies.
Prizes and odds
$500 total in U.S. dollars: one $300 Championship prize and four $50 random-draw prizes. Maximum one cash prize per person. Odds in each random selection depend on the number of eligible verified entries. No entrant is promised a prize. Winners never pay a claim fee.
Championship
Up to 16 unique finalists are selected by a documented random draw from eligible opt-ins, weighted by their one or two verified entries. Invites and access instructions are emailed Sunday morning; an acceptance deadline and randomly selected alternates will be used. The final is planned for October 11 at 5:00 p.m. PT / 8:00 p.m. ET. Three supervised MEME BALL rounds are scored using verified game results; the highest combined score wins. Ties require another round until resolved. No paid feature is needed. Practice scores do not qualify a player. Fewer than 16 confirmed players may compete.
General draw and verification
After the entry window, RunnrZ participation and 5K activity are matched by account email. The four $50 winners are selected from eligible verified entries by a documented random draw, without replacement of winning people; the Championship winner is excluded. Alternate-entry eligibility is verified without app data. Verification is planned by October 14; prizes are fulfilled within ten business days of winner verification.
Winner contact
Winners are notified by the organizer by email and have 48 hours to respond. If a winner is ineligible, unreachable or declines, an alternate is selected through the same process. No financial information is collected on this entry form. Any necessary payout information is requested privately from a verified winner.
Fair participation
One person may use only one registration identity. Duplicate accounts, automation, fabricated activity, manipulated scores or false eligibility may be disqualified. The organizer will document any decision. Technical issues may require an announced, reasonable adjustment; material changes require sponsor approval. The stated prize pool will not be increased by a purchase.
Privacy and platforms
Registration is used to administer this campaign and verify eligibility. Marketing consent is separate and optional. See the Privacy Notice. This campaign is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Apple, Google, Meta or X. Their services and the app have separate terms. No personal endorsement of RunnrZ by Scottie Pippen is claimed.
THE BALL FOUNDATION / CAMPAIGN PRIVACY

YOUR ENTRY.
YOUR DETAILS.

We collect your name, email, eligible state, entry choices and consent to administer the campaign and contact selected finalists and winners. Use the same email as your RunnrZ account if entering through the app.

The BALL Foundation stores registration records in its site database. Necessary account and activity details are matched with RunnrZ for verification. App-link clicks are counted separately and do not establish an install, Challenge join or 5K completion. A hashed technical identifier and submission times help prevent abuse.

Campaign records are retained for up to 180 days after prize fulfillment, except records required for tax, legal or dispute purposes. Selecting the optional newsletter checkbox adds your email to the same newsletter list used on the MEME BALL home page. You can opt out by emailing kb@theballfoundation.com. Newsletter consent does not affect entry odds.

No payment or financial information is collected on this form. App stores and RunnrZ have separate privacy terms. For privacy questions, access or deletion requests, contact kb@theballfoundation.com.
